Burberry's New Line—Biker Gear

Burberry unveiled new range of Biker gear by their chief creative officer Christopher Bailey. The collection includes biker jackets, short trench coats (which I like), leather motorcycle trousers, and leopard print mini dress.

The collection shows that it can be wearable wherever you are in the world. Bailey said, he wanted the collection to feel trans-seasonal. He's talking about the global audience, whether you're in a cold country or not.

Burberry is ahead of other brands in embracing new technology and social media. I guess they saw the need of it and also almost everyone uses the medium. That's a very good move for them. Here are some sites that you might want to see. Videos and pics, news...

Recollection

Early, early and I am awake 5am on a Monday morning. I don't know why? Seems weird though its a bit late last night when I decided to sleep because I enjoyed chatting with a friend. Well experts says, don't try to sleep if you can't sleep, its just a waste of time.

When I finally stood up, I opened my window, looked outside and inhaled the fresh morning air. After that I saw this boy brushing his teeth outside their house in his school uniform. Then I remember my younger days as an elementary student, waking up early to go to school. It was hard then because I don't eat breakfast and I wake up early. Several things went in my mind when I'm young that makes me smile when I remember.

The recollection of my young life brings a lot of things, and I noticed that my neighborhood has changed dramatically. Several new houses, new neighbors, cars, and there is an event place just in front of our house. Weird it is but Time passes by in a manner that you can't seem to fathom. You just need to accept and live your life to the fullest. (hopefully I can)

Sunday work....

It's Sunday and I am working. When I woke up, the idea of calling out pops into my mind instantaneously. Yes, it happens to me when there's a time which my body and mind doesn't work together and when I work for 6-8 days straight. Mind says "go to work" and Body says "stay in bed". Since I am a good worker and care about my job. My mind won the game. And yes, I'm in the office.

What I want

Now I know what I want to do in my life. ( I hope, this will be it). I want to write. Thanks to this blog, I discovered my passion to be. When writing, it gives me the satisfaction to express myself and somehow feature things that interests me.
I would like to continue this hobby and eventually I can use this as a tool to express myself and give some views on different things around me.
Cross fingers right now, I want to continue this.

Yes! Finally, I watched it on its first day! And I can't complain, and will not complain!

Brilliantly crafted movie! Super! Angelina is such an action star! She's one of the few or maybe the only one that can open an action movie with a bang! I can't think of any woman in Hollywood that can do this alone. (Can you think of anyone)

Even if the movie is just starting, I can't help think if she's really a Russian spy. It's really good, couple of twist in the story. And it's revealing. And the action scenes, its a wow! And I think there's part 2....

Bicol Vacation! Caramoan Part 2

Ito na ang part 2 ng Bicol Vacation namin. Umuulan nun pero masaya, nabasa nga kami habang papunta ng port para sumakay ng bangka at mag island hopping sa Caramoan Islands. Nakakagulantang lang dahil low tide nun, at sasakay muna kame ng bankga at itutulak ng bata papuntang malaking bangka. Takot na takot ako dahil baka tumaob ung bangka, kahit napakababaw naman ng tubig! Tapos itong aeron nato tmatayo pa at ugain! Ewan ko ba sa mga kasama ko, ang inarte!

Diba? Parang isang Dyosa nakatayo sa gilid ng mga bato? Ang ganda.... Thankfully naman umaraw nung nsa island na kami, uminit nga. Naenjoy naman namin ang gaganda ng island, sama mo na yung view sa isang island! haha...
Nakita din namin ung Gota at Hunongan Cove, sarap sana magstay dun kaso occupied at mahal! haha. Sabi ni manong bangkero, may survivor daw ngayon, France daw yata, I forgot na eh. Pero lucky for us nakita nga namin ung isang obstacle nila sa isang malaking bato, na dapt nila akyatin! Panalo, ang galing at nakakatakot subukan.
So parang naka 4 na island lang kami kasi medyo tanghali na kami nagstart, kasi naman lakas ng ulan, so may mga delay pa.

Give our country HOPE

The first State of the Nation Address of the President happened earlier at 4:00PM (Manila Time) at the House of Representatives. All Politicians are there, the Congressmen (of course), Senators, Mayors, Governors, Ex-Presidents (except PGMA, who is attending her husband). Let us not forget most of the VIP's present in the House, who share the limelight of the politicians.

What did P-Noy said?  “We only have one goal: we should give our country hope and get back the trust of our countrymen in our government. We were given a clear mandate during the last elections. We promised to serve the public truthfully and faithfully,"

It is true, some people don't trust the government. Especially those less fortunate ones. They say "ang mga nasa itaas lang ang nakikinabang at yumayaman". Which means only those who are well-off can have a voice in the country.

I for one agree to what he says that let us give the Philippines "Hope" for us to move forward, and move to prosperity. It is time for our country to prove itself, to the whole world than we can lead.

However there are several things I want to comment. It is said, that it's Ninoy who is delivering the speech. PLEASE, Ninoy is far far different from Noynoy. I think Ninoy is better. Lol.
Another thing, Noynoy should not always criticize the previous government on how it went. Let's face it Gloria did well regarding the Economy and Infrastructure, compared to previous Presidents.

I hope that he will do good, will not be corrupt including his allies. And I look forward and pray that the GOAL will be attained.

Magkaribal

Magkaribal—A primetime drama about fashion, love, family given to us by the Kapamilya network. Starring Bea Alonzo, Gretchen Barretto, Angel Aquino, Derek Ramsey, Erich Gonzales and Enchong Dee.

A new and budding fashion designer named Gelai Agustin (Bea Alonzo) is Victoria Valera's (Gretchen Barretto) long lost sister named Angela "Gelai" Abella. This is because when Angela's foster father found her, he began to call her "Gelai." Mixed Martial Arts Champion named Louie (Derek Ramsay) will find out Gelai is really Angela, the girl he met when he was kidnapped as a child.

Angela and Anna's mother, Stella, was a seamstress while their father, Manuel, went to Europe to work. While in Europe, Manuel met a rich model and fashion designer named Vera Cruz. Vera immediately fell in love with him, and so did Manuel. When Manuel went back to the Philippines, Stella got very angry at him because he never answered her letters. Manuel explained and Stella forgave her. Soon, Manuel decided to live with Vera and left his wife and children.

Angela and Anna saw Manuel hugging Vera. Anna angrily asked Vera why she was hugging their father. Vera did not answer and pushed Anna. Anna went home crying and showed her wounded arm to her mother. Stella went angrily to Vera's house to confront her but Vera tried to avoid her. As she was driving away Stella was accidentally hit by another car that's coming from the opposite way and instantly killed her and Anna witnessed the tragedy.

Angela and Anna soon lived on the streets after avoiding the people who would take them to the orphanage. After eating foods from garbage, Angela got sick and was rushed to the hospital by Anna. To earn money, the 15-year-old Anna worked as a prostitute. She came back to the hospital only to see that it was on fire but Angela was kidnapped by bad men who made children work as beggars on the streets. Angela became friends with a little boy, who call himself "Dos" and the future Louie, while kidnapped. Anna who is left behind, was adopted by a rich man (Ronaldo) and was sent abroad.

Years later, Gelai became a poor designer that continues both sister's hopes and dreams to be the queen of Philippine fashion. Anna who is now Victoria Valera became an international model and designer that gets revenge on Vera by stealing her place to be the best designer continuing their hopes and dreams. Vera gets angrier at Victoria because of her failure of pregnancy that Victoria caused and for trying to steal her company.

Angelina Jolie is back with a new movie entitled "SALT". As Evelyn Salt, a CIA officer who swore an oath to duty, honor and country. She is accused as a Russian spy. Because of this, she goes on the run, using all her skills as a CIA officer to elude capture, protect her husband, stay ahead of the CIA and clear her name.

And I can't wait for next week!

Inception-Movie

The plot started when Saito (Ken Watanabe) asked Dom (Leonardo) to perform an act on inception or secretly implanting an idea to the mind of his business rival. The target is Robert Fischer (Cillian Murphy) son of Saito’s terminally ill corporate rival Maurice Fischer. The objective is to make Fischer dismantle his father’s empire so that Saito’s business can run unchallenged. Cobb recruits Eames (Tom Hardy), a forger who shifts identities inside dreams, Yusuf (Dileep Rao), a chemist who develops sedatives and student Ariadne (Ellen Page), whom he and Arthur (Joseph Gordon Levitt) train as their new architect. Cobb explains to her, he will dream the dream, she will design it and Fischer will populate it with projections of people. Although Ariadne must design his dreams, Cobb warns her that the designs must be unique and not based on a real place in the real world. This is because although she is the designer for the dream, it is his dream and Fisher’s subconscious which will populate it with projections of people. The longer they remain in the dream, the more the subconscious projections will start noticing them and will start attacking them to try and kill them – and thus wake them up and end the dream. This is why she must never tell the dreamer the layout of his dream or else the subconscious will know where to get to and how. The plan require Ariadne to design different layers of a dream for their job, a multiple layers of dream and when you die you will not be awaken, instead you will be stuck in limbo and can nerver distinguish a dream from reality. And this is what happens to Dom and his deceased wife Mal (Marion Cottilard).

But there is a demon bothering Dom in the movie which hinders their plan and which can be the reason of their failure…

Now, it keeps me wondering, if this can really happen in reality, if you can do such thing. Dream within a dream, plant an idea to someone’s mind, and build a dream reality and more dangerously stuck in limbo. If it does? I am not sure if I want to try it.

Bicol Vacation! CWC Part 1

Ang saya saya naman ng Bicol vacation namin kahit medyo umulan! 1st stop is Legazpi, dun kasi bumaba ang plane namin. Ok naman ang byahe, sa airport palang busog na kami talerp! San kapa?! Si keps nangati din pati si rina. Si ep kaya? Of course!

Then after Legazpi airport, on our way to Naga for our CWC experience! But first, we stopped by SM Naga for our lunch break. FYI, sa Mang Inasal kami naglunch para TIPID ang mga Pyramid!! At eto pa sinundo kami ng coaster ng CWC, sosy dba?! Kami lang ang sakay + yung isang foreigner na nagyosi sa loob! Panalo tlaga!

So pagdating ng CWC, syempre picture ng picture ang mga tao! Ayaw paawat. Medyo inis lang kasi umuulan. Pero ok naman, nakapagikot naman kami at naenjoy yung magandang view! At eto pa nagaaway pa kmi nina talerp at ep at rina kung mag wakeboard. Syempre ang nag wakeboard ay si friend rina. Dagdag ito sa kanyang list ng mga sports! Syempre kaming 3 ni talerp at ep ay super nag cheer! WOndering kung asan si aeron at keps? Of course! san pa? tulog?! Nagpunta CWC para matulog!

Gimik 2010

I am watching Gimik 2010 right now, and I feel like I want to go back studying and feel the heat of being inspired and in love.

The show is like a continuation of the old Gimik 13 years ago.
The new story is about Jesse, being a spoiled brat before in Cebu, having a “rocker” boyfriend “Franco” who don’t bring any good to her. Eventually they broke up because of her father not giving a “go signal” for their relationship. Then in Manila, Jesse found a new friend and love in “Lance”. All things will be altered because of her new life in Manila. Hopefully it will be good.

Tennis Longest Match Evvvveeerrrr

The Longest match ever played in all tournament! 5 set match, 11 hour 5 minutes for the last set ( I think). Jon Isner of the USA and Nicolas Mahut of France with 70-68 respectively in the 5th set. take note this is just a 1st round match for them.

I can’t imagined how stressful this match was for them, emotional and physically. And everybody was talking about it. This match is definitely surreal and fantastic, no one can ever do this again, or maybe in 10 years or so.
For a consolation for both players, Wimbledon has given them a token for their historic match. Jon Isner was given a Virgin Trophy. I just don’t know what was given to Nicholas Mahut. However a big applause for them.

I can't help myself but to wonder and be amazed by how women from the UK pull it off like this. The Royal Ascot or just horse racing in everybodys tongue. Not to mention the Queen is in attendance every year.

Unfair or not?

Why is it sometimes life plays a trick on you? You dont even know when to get ready and fight. For my personal experience, I feel uneasy, not ready, I don't know what to do, where to start and stand my ground to fight and move on.

Still a big ? for me. Depressed maybe...

A President or a Celebrity?

I kept on wondering if the newly elected President is a President elect or a Celebrity who won an award for having the number of votes. Let's face it, he just won, but he doesn't need much attention including what he'll wear during the proclamation. Also who would want to hear their love story when the government has problems of its own? Well, I don't.

Why is it so popular in the Philippines and India? For the sole reason that its a low wage country. And companies who are outsourcing their job can definitely benefit from it financially.

Let me focus in the Philippines . Filipinos are definitely good english speakers and can be trained well with different processes. Also they are flexible in working in different times of the the day to cater different time zones of their clients. I can also say that they can easily adapt to different cultures and nationalities. Filipinos are well rounded individuals.
